Analyzer Consulting were appointed by a contractor to provide claims consultancy services in connection with delay-related issues on an oil and gas project in Qatar. The scope of work included the engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning of burn pits at 14 separate locations.
Our role involved the identification, preparation, and assessment of delay claims, as well as the evaluation of entitlement and exposure to potential liabilities. We produced clear, cause-and-effect presentations illustrating the impact of key events on the project’s critical path. These findings supported constructive negotiations with the engineer and employer regarding the contractor’s entitlement to time extensions.
Through active participation in presentations, strategy meetings, and settlement discussions, Analyzer successfully helped the client secure a satisfactory settlement, avoiding formal dispute proceedings.
